This is what Conservation Drones can do!
Mapping forest cover at 2 cm pixel resolution. These are 153 geo-tagged photos captured by a CHDK-hacked Canon SX230HS compact camera (@ 50 mm focal length lens) carried onboard a Conservation Drone 2.0 flying 80 m over the forest. Check out “IMG_2787.JPG” for 2 clearly visible orangutan nests in the forest canopy.
