ConservationDrones.org is a project co-founded and managed by Lian Pin Koh and Serge Wich.

Lian Pin Koh
Lian Pin is a conservation biologist who has worked on various conservation issues in SE Asia for the past 10 years. He is based in Switzerland.

Serge Wich
Serge is a primate biologist who has spent the last 20 years studying orangutan ecology and conservation in Indonesia. He is based in the United Kingdom.

Conservation Drones Asia Team

Our Asia Team helps with the development and testing of our drones in the tropics.

Keeyen Pang
Keeyen is a self-employed entrepreneur who has over 20 years of experience flying remote controlled model airplanes, helicopters and cars. He is based in Sabah.

Wee Siong Lim
Wee Siong is an avid world traveler who is passionate about preserving the natural environment in Asia. He is based in Peninsular Malaysia.

ResearchDrones LLC

ResearchDrones LLC works closely with ConservationDrones.org to develop and build the next generation of drones for conservation applications. Remo, Simon and Sämi bring with them expert knowledge on the building and configuration of UAVs.

Remo Peduzzi
Remo is co-founder and Managing Director of ResearchDrones LLC. He is responsible for importing materials, building drones, shipping products and training users. Remo is based in Switzerland.

Simon Wunderli
Simon is co-founder and co-Director of ResearchDrones LLC. He is responsible for research and development of airframes, electronics and software, and training users. He has roughly 20 years of experience in r/c flying. Simon is based in Switzerland.

Sämi

Sämi Pulfer
Sämi is the newest member and co-Director of ResearchDrones LLC. He is involved with development of custom electronics and mechanical solutions. Sämi is a professional electronics engineer based in Switzerland.

Jason Short
Jason wrote the original Ardupilot version a few years ago and still continues to contribute to the project through DIYDrones.com. Jason volunteers for ConservationDrones.org only so that when his wife gets on his case, he can point to our site and say that he is saving the planet ;)
