Nice – what camera/software you using for this?
Thanks. We used a modified Canon SX230 camera by http://www.maxmax.com
The image you see is not processed though. We will post an example of a processed image soon.
this is really cool– we’re doing something similar from kites and balloons– any tips on calibration would be great.
The images from the camera are calibrated using the guidelines from http://www.maxmax.com which is the company that we purchased the camera from. They gave us info on calibration and they use ImageJ to do this and can provide users of their modified cameras with scripts that can be used in ImageJ to process and calibrate the images.
