ConservationDrones teaming up with Dutch UAS
Dutch UAS and ConservationDrones are combining expertise to develop a fixed-wing drone with a user-interface that automatically detects people and rhinos. The aim is to provide a ranger with a tool that will allow the ranger to respond fast to the situation in the field. ConservationDrones bring expertise from flying various drones in many different settings and experience in a large number of conservation situations. Dutch UAS bring expertise on the development of the automatic detection system and the user interface such that the ranger saves time in finding the rhinos and potential poachers.
